This monument honors the poetry of the "Cantor del Trópico", the poet and novelist from Huila, José Eustasio Rivera Salas.
It is made up of five foals galloping towards infinity on a concrete diagonal. The monument is an imitation of the verve of the animal's first years, of its wild and happy frolicking.
The design of the animals and their bronze casting are the work of the master Rodrigo Arenas Betancourt and the design of the structure by the architects Ernesto González G. and Eliseo Perdomo Fierro.

MONUMENT TO THE SCULPTOR FOALS: Rodrigo Arenas Betancourt.
LOCATION: Race 2. with La Toma avenue.
